THURMOND MUSIC

Kelsey Scott is a trombonist, performer, and instructor based in Southern California. He started on piano at a young age, gaining early experience through church before later taking up the trombone in school. Kelsey focused on Jazz studies at California State University Long Beach. Kelsey is an active performer in both jazz and classical ensembles, with a growing focus on improvisation and developing his individual voice. In addition to performing, he is involved in the marching arts as both a performer and educator, working with local band programs to help develop young musicians and achieve ensemble excellence. He continues to expand as a musician today through performance, study, and collaboration.
